Hey guys, this is Jake here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at, I'm gonna show you how to replace the LaSalle Bristol valve handle. This is going to be a gray colored valve handle. The nice part about this is that if you already have gray valve handles, it'll be a direct replacement. But if you see here, we have two black handles. This is our black water, this is our gray water. more

MORryde X-Factor Crossmember Installation - 2014 Jayco Pinnacle Fifth Wheel- Video
Hey guys, it's Kevin here with etrailer and today I'm gonna be showing you how to install the MORryde X-Factor Crossmember for LRE, RE and TRE Trailer Leave Suspension Systems here on our 2014 Jayco Pinnacle Fifth Wheel Trailer. A lot of trailers today are built pretty much as cheaply as possible, so when it comes to the trailer frame itself, you will start to see a lot of warping over time, especially when you're going down bumpy roads. It starts to kind of bend or twist that trailer frame. And what that ends up doing is wearing more on your tires, more on your suspension, especially if you start to make tight turns. It can also kind of give you a little bit of trailer sway just because there's not that much support put into your frame. So MORryde came up with the X-Factor Crossmember, which is a giant beam that's gonna run between your hangers or through your equalizers like ours today will do, and it's gonna shore up the foundation of your frame and give you more strength and kind of take out that sway that you'll kind of get between the two different beams of your frame. more

Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer, and today we'll be showing you how to install the MORryde X-Factor Crossmember for standard hangers, here on our 2014 Jayco Pinnacle 5th wheel trailer. Trailer frames definitely aren't as strong as we'd like them to be. There tends to be quite a bit of bend in them, especially when you make sharp turns. You'll kind of see you'll flex a little bit side to side. So what this is going to do is it's going to strengthen from beam to beam. It's gonna give you a little bit extra support. more

MORryde Safe-T-Rail Telescoping RV Hand Rail Installation - 2022 Jayco Eagle HT Fifth Wheel- Video
Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer, and today I'll be showing you how to install the MORryde Safe-T-Rail here on our 2022 Jayco Eagle HT fifth wheel trailer. So the great thing about this Safe-T-Rail is that it gives you the full range of your steps. So when you're at the ground, you can easily grab onto it and get your way up into your camper. Now with our standard factory ones that come with it, it's really only gonna come out just to the edge of that first step. So you're not gonna have any railing at all when you're coming up here. So if you have little kids coming in and out of your camper there's a good chance that they could accidentally trip and fall off of the steps and hurt themselves. more

Furrion Chill RV Air Conditioner Basic Wall Thermostat Installation- Video
Hey guys, Kevin with etrailer, and today we'll be showing you how to replace your Furrion Chill basic wall thermostat here on your 2022 Jayco Jay Feather travel trailer. So our neighbor's been having some issues with his Furrion basic wall thermostat. He's actually already taken it off trying to troubleshoot some of the issues, but he's just not getting it to work, so we're gonna show you today how to replace it with a new one. So if you look at your connection port right here, our four wires are going to plug into each one of these and then just easily be pressed down with a flathead screwdriver onto each of those little tabs right there, and that's what's gonna hold our wire in place. On some of the other thermostats, you'll see that it's actually screwed in place so that you can easily put the wire in and out if you had to do any kind of maintenance or replace anything. Unfortunately with this one, it's just a one and done. more

Hi there, Jayco owners. Today, on our 2018 Jayco Seneca, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Progressive Dynamics' replacement converter battery charger. These replacement converters are available in 60, 75, and 90 amps. And they're also available for your conventional lead acid or for your lithium batteries. The one we're installing today is gonna be for lithium batteries. When upgrading your old Progressive Dynamics units that do not have a selector switch, once you replace the converter in it, whatever converter you install is what you're going to be able to charge. more

Kodiak Disc Brake Kit Installation - 2020 Jayco Seismic 5W Toy Hauler- Video
Shane: Hey everyone, Shane here with eTrailer.com. Today I have a 2020 Jayco Seismic Fifth Wheel Toy Hauler and I'm going to walk with you how to install Kodiak's Electric Over Hydraulic Disc Brake Set.This kit is going to come designed to complete one axle. It's going to come with your rotor, it's going to come with your caliper, break pads, and your cap for your oil. Keep in mind this is an oil bath bearing setup, which is what I would prefer. They're a lot easier to maintain over the actual greasing of them because with the grease ones you have to pull the bearings out, if the bearings are damaged at all you've got to replace them, but you've got to pull that old grease out and re-grease them. With these, once that oil starts to get a little bit low or wore out all you've got to do is add more oil. more

Our Hydrastar hydraulic brake line kit is going to be an excellent option here for our Jayco Pinnacle Fifth Wheel. Keep in mind, it's only going to be one of the other needed components. One, we're converting from electric drum brakes to hydraulic disc brakes. Some of these other components we're going to need are going to be our disc brake assemblies here. more
